Billing Consultant

The key aspects of the role are educating clients on the systems and dealing with billing enquiries. Billing enquiries will require understanding of how our different products bill and acting as an intermediary between our clients and the carrier the product is sourced from.


The Group has its own proprietary operational and business support system managed by its in-house team of developers. The system is directly integrated into tier-one carriers’ networks to enable seamless activation, management and billing of customers and services through one centralised platform.




  • Promptly resolving claims, enquiries and disputes within agreed SLA
  • Log claims, enquiries and disputes to carriers as required and manage expectation with service providers
  • Assist with resolving charge import errors by Adding missing data such as rate plans and Adjusting outdated data such as service disconnection dates
  • Create rate plans for new and existing customers
  • Modify rate plans including changes to charge types
  • Coach customers on creating and modifying rate plans
  • Coach customers on which reports to use and understanding the data in them
  • Report generation
  • Manage team ticket queue
  • Accept and manage ticket completion within operational targets
  • Assign tickets within team based on required expertise
  • Maintain open communication in team
  • Communicate targets internally and externally
  • Identify and communicate escalation risks internally
  • Escalate carrier claims, enquiries and disputes as required
  • Carry out documented recurring revenue assurance processes
  • Document & maintain processes for the tasks you work on
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Identify and report system issues internally

  • Telco billing experience
  • Computer literate and familiar with MS Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent time management
  • Good problem solving skills and the ability to think through problems logically
  • Attention to detail and the ability to analyse large amounts of complex data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate, Bachelor's/College Degree , any field.
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably 2 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Billing or equivalent
  • Full-Time position(s) available.
