Key selection criteria
To assist managers / partners in preparation of financial accounts, tax returns, BAS returns, other accounting and compliance requirements, e.g. cashflow statements & budgets.
To review work prepared by bookkeeper assistants and assist in ongoing training and development of these assistants.
Liaison and assistance with tax office and other statutory bodies as required.
Completion of financial records and preparation of financial accounts for companies, partnerships, trusts, sole traders, and self-managed super funds.
Preparation of tax returns for same entities, including income tax returns, business activity statements, instalment activity statements, fringe benefit tax returns, and payroll tax returns.
Preparation of other returns and documentation including land tax registrations, workers compensation audit certificates, long service leave certificate, etc.
Complete relevant correspondence to clients, tax office and other entities.
