PURPOSE OF THE ROLE (Tasks, Routines, Expectations, Working Environment)                                                         

This requirement is for a Pega Developer with proven Business Process Management experience to support Pega-focused engagements. Role will be part of an agile BPM team working with blue chip clients, with focus on government, health & banking sectors. Role requires customer-centric approach, focus on realization of business benefits & provision of specialized knowledge within industry domains and frameworks to ensure solutions delivered meet business & functional requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES                                                                                                                        

  • Assist planning & execution of unit, integration & user acceptance testing
  • Participate in the requirements, design & build phases of an application through collaboration with the business contacts & Pega team
  • Support existing applications and production issues

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications, Language)                                                                          

  • Degree qualification
  • Certified Pega System Architect or Certified Senior System Architect preferable

WORK EXPERIENCE (Technical Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)  

  • 4 years of BPM experience with at least 2 years of experience working as a Pega CSA Language skills Knowledgeable in Pega Version 6.2 & 7 above
  • Experience in facilitating/participating Inception & Elaboration workshops
  • Experience in all phases of software development including design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, & support of large-scale, business centric & process-based applications
  • Exposure to a variety of technologies, including, but not limited to, WebSphere or Weblogic, JEE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java), .Net, Oracle, DB2, & MS/SQL
  • Experience with CSS, JavaScript, JSON, jQuery & HTML
  • Demonstrated knowledge of & applicability of Object-Oriented techniques & principles
  • Experience in Agile & Scrum methodologies & ability to understand complex business processes for new industry sectors
  • Enterprise Content Management (ECM) & integration knowledge will be preferable but not mandatory
  • Experience in using Pega Products & Application like Case Management, BIX, PMF & other industry solutions (Government, Financial Services etc.) would be an advantage
  • Performs Pega Best Practices & Guardrails
  • Experience in creation of business user reports & charts
  • Experience on controlling access to an application, authentication & security
  • Knowledgeable in systems administration, debugging techniques & migrating an application
